Victorian Artist Philip Adams is passionate about
the beauty that nature provides. Through meditation
and a place of inner calm, Philip uses a method of
collage, with overpainting of acrylic and oils to
create vistas that take the viewer to a mystical
place. After doing a diploma of painting early in his
career, Philip then traveled for many years overseas
spending a year of that time painting full time in
London. After settling back in Victoria, Philip
spent 23 years teaching part-time and has now been
a full time professional artist for the past 16 years.

Well recognised for her narrative storytelling genre
that has earned Helen Norton a prosperous interna-

artist has moved into a new style that depicts her
current ambition to ‘paint from the heart’ and not
the ego. Sensuously simple and brightly coloured
abstracts and stripped back landscapes are the result
of this 180′ about turn that Helen Norton has tak-
en in her approach. This is the result of peeling

Margaret River Artist/Sculptor Lauren Rudd found
her artistic passion with the use of clay while study-
ing her Diploma of Fine Art and Design 1986-
1991. Lauren Rudd’s female torso sculptures are
stylised with exaggerated curves and aim to capture
a slightly surreal glimpse of reality. Her love and
experimentation with clay textures and finishing
glazes give another layer of individuality to her
sculptures.
