DIRECTIONS FOR USENew Plantings: Mix PHC Palm Saver in the backfill aroundthe root ball in the upper 7-10 cm of soil. For each 30cm diameter ofplanting hole, use 350g (4 scoops) of PHC Palm Saver.

Vertimulching Existing Plants: Apply by standard verticalmulching technique. For an average size palm, drill 4 holes evenlyspaced around the trunk, about halfway between the trunk anddripline. DIRECTIONS FOR USEPalms: Apply 600g of granular product per 10 square metres of areaextending twice the diameter covered by the canopy or per 25cm oftrunk diameter (DBH). DIRECTIONS FOR USEVertimulchTreatment: Follow standard vertical mulchingprocedures. Drill product into the soil at a rate of 85g per hole, sothat product is thoroughly mixed with the soil in the hole. Use anearth auger or similar drill with a 7 cm wide auger bit. Drill to adepth of about 25cm. Drill numerous such holes to cover the entirearea beneath the canopy, from the trunk outward to slightly beyondthe drip line following a grid pattern with approximately 75 cmspacing between holes.Two hundred (200) holes at this spacing willcover about 125 square metres, equivalent to the area beneath a 12mdiameter canopy.

Alternate Method Using PremixedVertimulch Fill: Mix 2 KgPHCVertimulch per 100 Litres of soil. Drill holes as described aboveand fill with mix.

RadialTrenchTreatment: Mix PHCVertimulch with mulch or fill ata rate of 85g (1-scoop) per 100 square cm of trench.
