Dec. 2009 – ½ day internal planning meeting with research team, communication coordinator and information manager to outline the timeframe and next steps.

� Closing and marshalling Phase 1 projects

� New communications coordinator suggested four different types of reference materials in a proposal to IFAD and the external consultant.

� Lots of back and forth of resource materials provided to the external consultant

Feb. 2011 – 3 day retreat for the Phase 1 repackaging team with the consultant: for a-- better definition of the material types-- Suggested titles and content for each set of materialsmaterials-- format definitions e.g. for key messages poster with art, or sourcebook articles sub headings

Jun. 2011 – 4 day workshop internal Phase 1 repackaging team and consultant – critical review of available drafts and definition of next steps for input and improvements.

� Preparation and planning for the next review workshop: selection of a wide range of users for the materials with good geographic representation, agenda, and provision of materials

The Resource Package will also form a basis for an IFAD grant with 3 components:

1) On assessing and documenting lessons learnt about marketable innovations/ successful adoption processes complement the emerging

2) Up scaling 5 selected CPWF projects to increase their impact from 2004-2009 research (RIU)

3) Piloting brokerage services to IFAD and other agencies with respect to best practices to aid development of general and specific strategy and policy processes.
