Menu options will appear based on the user’s access or company subscription.

Search drugs for pricing information

Search Interface

Conduct a general

keyword search to

query all text

columns.

By clicking the

icon, you can check

the definition of the

filtering option.

Or select your

options from the full

directory. Common

selections for the

filter will be shown

for your

convenience. You

can add more filters

by using the “Add

Filter” button. You

can also toggle

between “Include”

and “Exclude” for

your selected

options.

Run a search by

clicking on

“Currency Options”

allows you to see the

converted prices in

your preferred

currency. The default

setting is USD.

Exchange rates are

updated daily.

Therapy View will appear based on the user’s access or company subscription.

Click on a row to see all fields in a vertical popup.

Click on column headings to sort the results. e.g.

Use Manage Columns to select which fields to show and in what order.

Your saved searched and calculations appear under Saved Searches and Saved

Calculations (Slide 15 and Slide 20) The calculation function requires a separate subscription.

Price Details

Generate simple charts using the Show buttons under the price history

columns. For full time series, use the Excel export function (Slide 16).

The prices underlined in orange are official. The others are calculated by

IHS Markit based on the proprietary methodologies.

Charting

By ticking the boxes available on the left and clicking

on Chart, a chart will be created based on the drugs

your selection. You can further toggle between

Current Prices & Price Histories and Manufacturer

Price, Wholesale Price, Retail Price etc. The chart

can be exported by clicking on Export.

Use Save to store the search settings for later use. You can also set an

email alert to be notified of future price changes, your saved searches are

then available from the tab above the grid and in My Connect (Slide 44).

Calculator column, you can see the

custom calculation function where

you can modify Average Duration of

Use, Assumption Value etc. You

can give a name to the custom

calculation and save it by clicking

on Save Calculation.

Methodologies

On the right of the POLI database, User Guide, Global

Methodology and each geography’s methodology document

is available. Please click on More POLI Methodologies for

all geographies’ methodology documents.

Each methodology document shows data source(s), links to

the source(s), data update frequency and methodology to

estimate prices.

POLI Bulletins

On the right of the POLI database, POLI Bulletins are

available. POLI bulletins are updated monthly providing

methodology updates, new innovative drugs and average

price changes in major markets.

POLI Indicators

On the right of the POLI database,

POLI Indicators is available. It is a

visualization tool to analyze drug

price trends. Select the desired

therapeutic area from the pull-down

menu. By clicking on a legend

name, you can only show what you

require. allows you to select

your desired countries. Finally, go

to to download the customized

chart.

POLI Indicators will appear based on the user’s access or company subscription.

Table Settings

Manage Tables allows you to change table settings.

Clicking the date range allows you to revise the data period.

Columns allows you to show/hide columns.

Save As allows you to save the criteria for later use. You can

access your saved item through My Saved (Slide 42).

Select series, click on Calculations and select your option(s).

Edit Chart allows you to make further

changes to the chart.

Save your work

Select series, click on Save As.

Name your table and specify a folder.

You can access your saved item through My Saved (Slide 42).

Load by mnemonics

In Workspace, click on LOAD BY MNEMONICS.

Copy and paste or type mnemonics horizontally or vertically.

Click on CHECK AVAILABILITY followed by ADD SERIES.

Select Excel static or CSV static to download to a static Excel or CSV file.

Adjust Export Settings if necessary.

You will be notified on the download progress.

Refreshable Excel files allow you to update the data with one click

Select Excel Refreshable to generate a

refreshable excel file. Specify a folder to save the

search criteria.

To update the refreshable Excel, please click on

Refresh All from the Excel Data Menu.

My Saved provides quick access to your saved items

My Saved

By clicking on the name of your saved item, you can re-load what you have saved earlier

e.g. Time to Pricing.

gives you options such as delete, edit, send a copy, share, copy to and move to.

allows you to share the saved item with your colleague(s). Your colleague(s) need to

be entitled to the same data.

Click on My Connect to manage Email Notifications by selecting/deselecting the check boxes in

the Immediate, Daily or Weekly columns from Standard Email Notifications.
