We are off early this morning for travel to

Omaha. Upon arrival we visit the Old Market for

lunch at the Upstream Brewery. Since 1996, the

Upstream Brewery and Pub has been welcoming

guests for delicious dining and a taste of

home brewed beer. A special section has been

reserved for our group in the upstairs dining

area (elevator available). You’ll have the choice

of Beer braised pot roast with smashed Yukon

Gold potatoes & beef gravy, Char-broiled

chicken breast with raspberry glaze, pine nuts,

and feta with house rice and vegetables or

Upstream Mac-n’Cheese made with Cavatappi

pasta tossed with ham and smoked cheese

cream sauce, topped with toasted bread

crumbs, scallions, Monterey Jack and cheddar

cheeses. (Please indicate choice at time of

booking.)

After a tasty lunch we are off to the beautiful

Orpheum Theater. The Orpheum Theater was

built in 1927 as a vaudeville house and is now listed

on the National Register of Historic Places. We’ll

take our orchestra section seats (main floor) for the

matinee performance of The Phantom of the Opera.

Cameron Mackintosh’s spectacular new

production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom

of the Opera comes to Omaha as part of a brand

new North American Tour. This production, which

retains the beloved story and thrilling score, boasts

exciting new special effects, scenic and lighting de-

signs, staging and choreography and has been hailed

by critics as “bigger and better than ever

before.” If you have seen the Phantom before you’ll

want to see this new rendition. If you have never
