Scholarships Application form Program objectives Who it is for Eligibility criteria The purpose of Sentinel North doctoral scholarships is to encourage top applicants to undertake or pursue doctoral studies within the Sentinel North (SN) research program in a transdisciplinary environment. Holders of a Master’s degree who are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. program at Université Laval. Applicants must meet all the following conditions to be eligible for the program: Be registered or to plan to register in a Ph.D. program at Université Laval Be supervised by a research supervisor and co-supervisor from different disciplines or have an agreement with a research supervisor and co-supervisor from different disciplines to supervise the doctorate Be supervised by at least one professor who is participating in one of the research projects funded by SN Present a Ph.D. research project whose results and outcomes have potential applications and impact in the North, consistent with the conceptual framework of SN’s research program. Have at least a B grade point average (3.0/4.3) at the bachelor’s level and an A- (3.67/4.3) at the master’s level Provide proof of co-funding of at least $3,000/year from the research supervisor or co- supervisor, or from other sources (private funds, foundations, etc.) To remain eligible for funding during their Ph.D. program, applicants must maintain full-time student status at Université Laval. Who it is for

Eligibility criteria

The purpose of Sentinel North doctoral scholarships is to encourage top applicants to undertake or pursue doctoral studies within the Sentinel North (SN) research program in a transdisciplinary environment.

Holders of a Master’s degree who are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. program at Université Laval.

Applicants must meet all the following conditions to be eligible for the program:

• Be registered or to plan to register in a Ph.D. program at Université Laval • Be supervised by a research supervisor and co-supervisor from different disciplines or have an

agreement with a research supervisor and co-supervisor from different disciplines to supervise the doctorate

Submitted articles may be considered only if accompanied by a copy of acknowledgement from the editor, and articles acceptedfor publication must be accompanied by notification from the editor (acknowledgments of receipt are not required for published articles). Pending articlesare not taken into account if they have not been submitted.
