Dealer Program

Does your company currently sell or service clients with cooling towers? If so, then we would like to speak with you.

Your clients’ facilities which operate cooling towers are evaporating money. Our Evaporation Credit Service will save them money each and every month, enabling you to make money each and every month.

Water Cooling Tower Evaporation Credit Service...Monitoring & Reporting: princetongreen.org has developed a program for your clients to begin receiving their evaporation credits on their water/sewer bill. For an initial program fee, we will install the approved monitoring equipment, commission the system, begin monitoring evaporation, submit the supporting data for your clients to receive their credit, and reconcile that the credit was received. We share in these savings to recoup our equipment, installation and commissioning costs, after which they will receive a greater portion of the savings. princetongreen.org will continue reporting, auditing bills and maintaining the equipment for a portion of the shared savings. And, you as the Dealer, receive a portion of our shared savings. And, since everybody wins, there are no reasons for your clients to cancel the service.

Auditing Function: princetongreen.org receives a copy of your client’s water utility bill each month. We will assure that the credit reported will be reflected properly on the bill. Any discrepancies will be addressed.

Leak Detection: With the sophisticated wireless Internet monitoring any over flow condition of the cooling tower will be caught in a matter of hours rather than days. This can save a large amount of make-up water and further increase savings.

We are currently seeking dealer companies to market this never before offered service

to their existing clients. This is a “can’t lose” proposition for your clients.

Water monitoring in 3 easy steps...

While you probably know that a cooling tower is designed to evaporate water, your client may not know the true cost for operation. When your client purchases water for their cooling tower they are also charged for sewage at that time. Even though a portion of the water evaporates, and is not returned as sewage, they have already paid this cost. National sewage cost per 1,000 gallons average 1.5 to 2 times greater than the amount paid for make-up water. Even if they think their cooling tower is small, the amount of water used can be staggering. Normally 70 to 80% of the water sent to the cooling tower evaporates, and therefore, eligible to this credit program.

Many existing cooling tower owners that attempt to participate in water company’s program on their own, have a difficult time sustaining their participation due to the laborious process required. They attempt to monitor and report for a period of time, only to then see the routine fall through cracks. Leveraging our technology brings about consistency to an inconsistent process. In addition, overflowing towers often go undetected, leaving unprotected client stranded when they waste a lot of water and receive a staggering water bill. Therefore, your clients benefit by saving money while gaining the added protection of leak detection.

How much money your clients can save depends on the size of their cooling tower as well as the amount of time it is operated. princetongreen.org authorized personnel will help you survey your client’s facility to provide them with savings estimates. We contact the water provider to determine water rates and required reporting procedures. Many cities will provide additional rebates for saving water, payable in lump sums, if a water savings can be documented.

Consider the following example from Dallas, TX.

Upon you submitting the required cooling tower specifications and 12 months of water bills, princetongreen.org will provide you with an estimated monthly credit amount. You simply enter the estimated monthly credit into our program calculator to easily project the cash flow and return on investment your clients can anticipate for each respective program offering.

Water evaporation credits are only one facet of our program. Our innovative approach to water utility management can decrease operating costs and save water. We have the ability to monitor water flow in a way that no other water conservation consultant can.

Water is a precious resource for everyone, especially water-cooled HVAC clients. Cooling towers use large amounts of water, and failures due to equipment malfunction are common.

An audit of a client with 50 cooling towers across 5 states indicated that 60% of their systems overflowed at least once during a particular year. One location, with an average water bill of $900/month, received a bill for $11,000 for the month of September that very same year. This occurred because the tower was overflowing and it was not detected for 30 days. With monitoring, we would have alerted the client to the situation, and prevented the waste of 1.6 million gallons. The water provider was not sympathetic to their plight, and offered a whopping $150 credit.

Are your clients protected?

One hundred (100) cooling towers in a major metropolitan area were audited at random as requested by the city. This was done to determine if cooling tower operators were conserving water in this drought plagued area. Cooling tower operators attempted to conserve water, but had no means of gauging success. The results of the audit indicated that the towers were operating at 50% efficiency. Monitoring those 100 systems alone (1/6th of cooling tower population) will attain 44% of the city’s stated annual conservation goal in one year, 41 years ahead of schedule. The city’s goal was to achieve this by 2045.

Our never before offered service enables us to remotely monitor cooling tower evaporation 24/7, while automatically and systematically processing their evaporation credit with their utility provider. We assist your clients in obtaining significant credit for water not leaving their facility as sewer and waste water. These credits will often reach into the thousands, if not tens of thousands, of dollars per month.

Our service is offered on a shared savings basis, meaning that after an initial program fee (that is quickly recovered by their savings) is paid, your clients will then share a portion of their ongoing savings monthly with us. This is a “can’t lose” proposition for your clients. We are finding and returning to them their own money!

We will then share our portion of the shared savings with you for introducing the service to your clients and helping with the upfront efforts. Then, we take over from there. We will monitor, file for the appropriate credits on your clients behalf, reconcile their bill, issue the appropriate credit, retain our portion, and then electronically transfer your portion to you.

We will be launching our service on or about September 1st 2011. We are striving to have our dealer network established and training in place prior to that date. Training will be coordinated directly with our dealers.
