With reference to direct wira fr•om you August 4, no

money has been given by ua to any organizations for childr·ens.v"­

homes in Switzerland. All your instructions are followed and

money kept for rescue of people from occupied to unoccupied

territories only.

So far it has been impossible to do greater rescue work

for Italy{ unfortunately. To present time we have been able

to rescue about thirty persons only, althoug);r we ool"laborate

- with two large organizations in that country. Until orgaril.za­

tions began to f'unc.~ion as expected took some t-ime. It is

re_quest~d that s.rrangemenfs~ made for collection by Angelot L - -Reves Italian colony of' larger amounts. /
