19th Annual Peyton Manning Golf Classic

EAST TENNESSEE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

It’s time “fore” the Peyton Manning Golf Classic. We are proud to announce that Peyton Manning, number 18, quarterback for the National Football League’s Denver Broncos, and the PeyBack Foundation will again partner with East Tennessee Children’s Hospital to celebrate the 19th Annual Golf Classic. Many lives will be directly touched by the support this tournament generates.

Peyton will be present and visiting with golfers throughout the day on June 20, 2016 at Fox Den Country Club. The Golf Classic with Peyton Manning promises to be more exciting than ever as we return to Fox Den Country Club for a day of golf with breakfast, lunch and a 19th hole reception provided along with goody bags, golf shirts, door prizes and much more.

This year’s beneficiaries will be East Tennessee Children’s Hospital and the PeyBack Foundation. Children’s Hospital has a history of caring for children that began in 1937. From its inception, Children’s has treated children regardless of race, religion or their parent’s ability to pay. Funds will benefit purchase of vital services and equipment.

Peyton Manning established the PeyBack Foundation in 1999 to promote the future success of disadvantaged youth by assisting programs that provide leadership and growth opportunities for children at risk. The foundation continues to create and implement programs that will help children grow up healthy and ultimately learn to become leaders. All of the money raised for the foundation from this golf outing will stay in this area – it will be distributed through our grant and holiday programs.

The Peyton Manning Golf Classic’s format is a 4-player team swat (or best ball) and flighted by team handicaps. The maximum individual handicap will be 25. Each round is considered a separate tournament with three flights – awarding 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winning teams in each flight. Each winning team member will receive a prize.
