Peterbilt 567 and 579PeopleNetMobileGateway® (PMG) Install Guide
Identifying Prewire Type All 2017+ Peterbilt 567/579s come with a PMG already installed.
Many pre-2017 567/579s also come with a PMG already installed.
Open the overhead compartment to identify if you have a PMG and whether it is the Factory Standard version or a full Display Prewire.
Pop off the left overhead
panel to view the PMG.
If the large connector has a cap,
then it is a Standard Factory
Prewire.
If there is no PMG, a full
field install is required.
If the large has a cable on it, then
it is a Factory Display Prewire.
