QBN & JERRA MARKET UPDATE

WELCOME TO THE APRIL QUARTERLY REPORT

Autumn is well and truly in the air and although the weather appears to be cooling

down the market certainly isn’t. Over the last three months we have seen a high number

of buyers come through with various price ranges and housing demands. We have a

number of active buyers on our database so if you are considering selling, and think

your property may suit one of our potential buyers, speak to our sales team today.

Over the last quarter a total of 77 properties were sold in the Queanbeyan region with

44 sales in Queanbeyan and 33 in Jerrabomberra. The lowest sale for the region was

$141,000 in Queanbeyan with the highest sale in Jerrabomberra coming in at

$1,250,000. According to Allhomes.com.au the average sale price for Queanbeyan is

$401,895 and $707,621 for Jerrabomberra.

One of the emerging hot spots in the Queanbeyan area is the suburb of Googong with

28 sales since January through to March. The highest sale was $1,075,000 and the

lowest sale was $185,000. There are great buyer opportunities for both first home

buyers and investors with Vista Apartments entering the market in Googong with its 20

residential development complex. Considering the interest rate will be on hold at 2.0%
