El Gobierno peruano está buscando formas de atraer la inversión privada a fin de mantener su crecimiento económico anual del 5,5% lo que requiere que la inversión pública aumente en más del 30%. La inversión china en proyectos de capital en el Perú se espera que crezca en $10 mil millones para el año 2016. Los fondos de pensiones en Perú invertirán $500 millones en infraestructuras en el primer trimestre del 2012. Se espera un crecimiento de un 8% en el sector de la construcción en el 2012.
