Students in Mrs. Brown and Mr.

Hemler’s classes were presented with the

challenge of taking a position on whether

or not students should go to school all year long. They

were initially asked to come up with a pros

and cons list.

After creating a pros and cons list, students chose their best reasons to include in their writing
