In English, as in Spanish, we have different types of personal pronouns:◦I am Italian.

Yo soy español.

◦She gave me a new pencil. Ella me dio un lapicero nuevo.

◦Whose is this car? It is mine. ¿De quien es este coche? (El) Es mio.

So, we are going to have a look at them by types.

These pronouns always act as the SUBJECT of the sentence, so they will be at the beginning, before the verb.
