PRIMERA ETAPA/ FIRST STAGE

PRIMER PASO• Seleccionar un contexto global, un tema, el área de conocimiento que abarque en su mayoría el tema y el asesor del proyecto.

OBJETIVOS:Definir un objetivo y un contexto global claros para el proyecto, basándote en intereses personales.

Identificar conocimientos previos y conocimientos específicos de las materias pertinentes para el proyecto.

Demostrar habilidades de investigación

FIRST STAGE• Selection of a Global context, a topic, an area of knowledge which cover as most as possible the chosen topic.• Choose a project advisor.

OBJETIVES: Define a clear objective and a Global Context for the

project, based on personal interest. Identify previuos and specific knowledge of the subjects which are going to be involve in it. Demostrate reseach skills.

¿QUÉ SON LOS CONTEXTOS GLOBALES?

• Son ideas universales, amplias que nos permiten seleccionar un área de interés para la elaboración del Proyecto Personal.• Identificaremos 6 contextos globales.

• PARA SU SELECCIÓN PUEDEN CONSIDERARSE LAS SIGUIENTES PREGUNTAS:• ¿Qué quiero lograr con mi proyecto personal?• ¿Qué quiero que los demás entiendan a través de mi proyecto?• ¿Qué impacto quiero que tenga mi proyecto?• ¿Cómo puede un determinado contexto dar un mayor propósito a mi proyecto?

WHAT ARE GLOBAL CONTEXTS• They are Universal Ideas , they are broad and allow us to select an area of interest in order to create the Personal Project

• TO SELECT THEM WE SHOULD CONSIDER THE FOLLLOWING QUESTIONS:•What do I want to achieve with this project?•What do I want the others to learn through my project?•What kind of impact do want my project to have?• How can a specific context provide a bigger purpose to my project?

IDENTIDADES Y RELACIONES• Explorar la identidad; las creencias y los valores; la salud personal, física, mental, social y espiritual; las relaciones humanas, incluidas nuestras familias, amigos, comunidades y culturas; lo que significa ser un ser humano.

IDENTITIES AND RELATIONSHIPS• Explore the concept of identity, the beliefs and values; personal, mental, physical, and spititual health; .human realtionships our families included, friends, communities, as well as different cultures; in other words, what it means to be a human being.

ORIENTACIÓN EN EL ESPACIO Y EL TIEMPO• Explorar historias personales; hogares y viajes; puntos de inflexión en las sociedades humanas; descubrimientos; las exploraciones y migraciones de la humanidad; las relaciones y la interconexión entre los individuos y las civilizaciones desde perspectivas personales, locales y globales.

SPACE AND TIME ORIENTATION

• Explore personal histories, homes, travels; points of inflection within human societies, discoveries, human exploration and migrations; relationships and interconnections between individuals and civilizations from the personal and global perspective.

EXPRESIÓN PERSONAL Y CULTURAL• Explorar los modos en que descubrimos y expresamos nuestras ideas, sentimientos, naturaleza, cultura, principios y valores; los modos en que reflexionamos sobre nuestra creatividad, la ampliamos y la disfrutamos; la forma en que apreciamos el valor estético de las cosas.

PERSONAL AND CULTURAL EXPRESSION

• Explore the ways in whci we discover and express our ideas, feelings, nature, culture, our principals, moral principles and values; the way in whcih we self- reflect upon our own creativity, the way in which we appreciate the aesthetic faculties of things.

INNOVACIÓN CIENTÍFICA Y TÉCNICA• Explorar el mundo natural y sus leyes; la interacción entre las personas y el mundo natural; el modo en que los seres humanos usan su comprensión de los principios científicos; el impacto de los avances científicos y tecnológicos en las comunidades y los entornos; el impacto de los entornos en la actividad de los seres humanos; el modo en que los seres humanos adaptamos los entornos a nuestras necesidades.

SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL INNOVATION

• Explore the natural world and its laws, the interaction amongst people and the natural world; the way in which human beings use their comprehension on the scientific principles; the impact of the scientific and technological advances within the communities and environments, the impact of the environments in the human beings´ activities, the way in which we human beings adapt to the different environments according to our needs.

GLOBALIZACIÓN/ SUSTENTABILIDAD• Explorar la interconexión de los sistemas creados por el ser humano y las comunidades; la relación entre los procesos locales y globales; el modo en que las experiencias locales reflejan las globales; las oportunidades y tensiones que ofrece la interconexión mundial; el impacto de la toma de decisiones en los seres humanos y el medio ambiente.

GLOBALIZATION/ SUSTENTABILITY

• Explore the interconnection between the systems created by the human beings and the communities, the relationship amongst the local and global process; the way in which the local experiences are reflected on the local ones; the opportinities and tension offered by the world interconnections; the impact of the human decision making and the environment.

EQUIDAD Y DESARROLLO• Explorar derechos y responsabilidades; la relación entre las comunidades; el hecho de compartir recursos finitos con otras personas y otros seres vivos; la igualdad de oportunidades; la paz y la resolución de conflictos.

EQUITY AND DEVELOPMENT

• Explore rights and resposibilities, the relationship between communities, the fact of sharing finite resources with other people and other living beings; the equility of opportunities, peace and conflict solving.

PASO 2• Apoyar a los estudiantes en la selección de tema, áreas de conocimiento
