FISHER‘N’CHIPS Today our opponents are Troon, and they are currently in a

mid-table position and holding their own in the league with

some creditable performances.

Last week our players were disappointed with a draw

against league leaders Penryn, just like the St.Agnes game

they felt as I did that we had enough chances to gain

maximum points.

With the twins and dayer back in the side we are now

nobody's pushover. If we can improve in the last third of

the pitch we can expect the good times to return.

As a club we would like to extend our condolences to Nigel

Brabyn and Gavin Boon who have both lost their fathers in

the last couple of weeks, they know that if there is any help

as a club we can give, we are there for them.

Troon is a large village lying just over two miles southeast of Camborne in Mid-West Cornwall. The village has changed character over the years - from a mining village of the mid 1800's to more of a distant suburb of Camborne and connected to it by the ribbon development of Beacon.

Sitting 13th in the league Troon will be hoping to get all 3 points today, which will take them above this rejuvenated Perranwell side.
