FRANKLIN Garden Hillside Garden

Constructed in 2012, this gardenrepresents the regenerative power ofpermaculture design. What was oncea eroded construction site is now a1/10 acre garden featuring a varietyof off-beat edible plants includingsea kale, sunchoke, chestnut, andelderberry.

Just to the side of Hampshireyou’ll find an herb garden thatwas built in partnership withEureka Inc., a local non-profitfocusing on girls’ empowerment. The garden features a widevariety of culinary and tea herbs.

Located in a brick-lined courtyardinside of Worcester DC, thisgarden contributes a variety ofculinary herbs to the diningkitchen. Because of its uniquelocation, it also creates amicroclimate ideal for growingMediterranean plants like fig, rosemary, and lavender.

Equal parts living classroom andproduction space, our award-winning ¼ acre flagship gardenfeatures over 100 different edibleand medicinal plant species, beehives, edible mushrooms, arainwater catchment system, andmore.

Designed to be as muchaesthetically pleasing as it isproductive, this garden, whichis located behind theChancellor's house on OrchardHill, is built to resemble amandala.  It is a wonderfulhaven to enjoy the bounty andbeauty of nature.
