Mes Patrio Un poco de historia…

La independencia de México, fue un proceso histórico político y social que se resolvió por la vía de las armas, inició el 16 se septiembre de 1810 con el grito de Dolores y puso fin al dominio español en territorio de México llamado Nueva España y culminó con la entrada del Ejército Trigarante el 21 del Septiembre de 1821.

If there is a month characterized by Mexican holiday, joy and especially the colors green, white and red of the Mexican flag, is September. One of the most important months for Mexicans, it is precisely in this month, in the day 15 and 16, when they celebrate the independence day of the country.

A little bit of history ...The independence of Mexico, was a political and social historical process that was resolved by the use of arms, ending Spanish rule in the territo-ry of what is was called as New Spain, now Mexico, which began on September16th, 1810 with the shout of Dolores and culminated with the entry of the Trigarante Army the 21st of the same month in 1821.

Chiles en NogadaEating in Mexico is a whole new experience, and if we add the traditional recipes and patriotic honor with a festive spirit, the result will be a delight and, this is the goal of this note, we introduced to you the Chiles in Nogada.

Dish from Puebla for excellence, created by Augustinian nuns of the Santa Monica convent, as a tribute to Agustin Iturbide, an important character of the Mexican Independence, who was returning from the signing of the Declaration of Mexican Independence.

This delicious dish consist in a chile filled with a stew made from mince and fruit, topped with walnut cream, parsley and pomegranate that symbolizes the colors of the Mexican flag. It has been considered internationally one of the finest and most representative dishes of Mexican cuisine

Comer en México es toda una experiencia y si a las tradicionales recetas le agregamos espíritu festivo y honor patrio, el resultado será una delicia y precisamente de una de ella hablaremos: los Chiles en Nogada.

Platillo poblano por excelencia, creado por monjas agustinas del convento de Santa Mónica, como un homenaje a Agustín Iturbide, insurgente de la independencia, al regresar éste de la firma del Acta de Independencia de México.

Este delicioso platillo consta de un chi-le poblano relleno de un guisado hecho a base de picadillo y frutas, cubierto con crema de nuez, perejil y granada roja que simboliza en plena armonía los colores de la Bandera de México. Ha sido considerado internacionalmente uno de los más finos y representativos platillos de la alta cocina mexicana.
