Perfumes inspired by nature An Abdulmalik Abdul Mohsen presentation

As we come into spring, there is something in the air – literally and metaphorically. Those clichéd April showers

bring with them a cool freshness, and as flowers to start to bloom, our perfume should too.

While many perfumes have floral notes, there are many more which incorporate this with earthiness, fougère tones,

an ozonic texture and more.In this presentation we’ll take a look at three Abdulmalik Abdul Mohsen favourites that should give you a taste of

warmer weather, and the turn of the season.

Comme des Garcons AmazingreenFor some this perfume may even be too green, with top notes of palm tree, mid notes of ivy and plenty of water notes. The chlorophyll hints and fresh dew make it like walking through a jungle almost. The sillage is not major on this fragrance, but this is almost a blessing, as you can turn up the volume if you wish, but will not get too sick of it.

Elemis for WomenKeeping things marine, this Elemis signature scent has a fresh hue. It also includes its own namesake, elemi, which is a fragrant oil derived from a tree in the Philippines. Finally, we also have notes of freshly cut grass, one of Abdulmalik’s most loved natural smells.

Clean Air by CleanThis is a perfume by a new nose on the scene Ruhi Patel. It certainly does what it says on the tin, with mountain air being a central factor. There are also florals such as bergamot blossom an peony, with an interesting hit of amber at the base. A great one for blending if that’s your style.
