Why do people

live where they live in Asia?

People live in the Western part of Asia for OPEC. OPEC is the organization that influences the price of oil on the World market. People move near there for a good job. Drilling oil pays a lot of money. So, people live in the Western part of Asia for the profit.

Some people that live in the Stan countries are Nomads. Nomads are herders that travel from place to place. They make a living by raising horses, cattle, sheep, and goats. This is why the Stan countries are so populated. (Kazakhstan below left)

Phosphates is a fertilizer and mineral. It can also be considered as a salt. It is found Syria, Jordan, and Israel. So many people live in these countries for jobs and the access to this fertilizer.
