Technical Committee for Agro-Based Products The agro-based products standardized technical committee was

established with the Deputy Director General of the Trade Promotion Department, Ministry of Commerce as chairman and (14)members under the notification No.145/2013 dated 4.7.2013 issued by Ministry of Science and Technology.

Now, it has been reformed with the Deputy Director General of the Consumer Protection Department, Ministry of Commerce as chair and (20) members under the notification No.41/2018 dated 8.8.2018 of National Standard Council.

The agro based products standardized technical committee formulated and published the Myanma standard rice & beans.

It is formulating 21 kinds of agro-based products and working group is founded to be effective and faster in formulating standard for these products.
