PROJECT DESCRIPTIONThe Billy Graham Library occupies a 40,000 square foot facility located on a 63 acre site.

The library presents the Billy Graham story using immersive exhibits and environments integrating 60 years of film, video, still images and artifacts into a compelling guest experience.

Billy Graham's childhood home which has been restored and is filled with family photos and personal items from the Graham family is included on the library site.

The facility also hosts a themed café and retail shop, 18 foot tall glass-fronted bookcases, administrative offices and archival space.

THE ITEC SOLUTIONITEC‘s creative team extensively researched Billy Graham's life and ministry in developing its story-based presentation approach. At the same time, ITEC worked closely with key representatives of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association to assure the accuracy of their concepts and designs.

By expertly employing today's advanced entertainment technology platforms to communicate Dr. Graham's enduring message, ITEC enhances the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association's ability to connect with a younger generation of visitors.

ITEC's story-based approach leads guests on a tour that introduces them to the ideas, experiences and individuals that inspired Billy Graham. In this way, the Billy Graham Library enables audiences to "walk in Billy's shoes," shadowing the milestones in his celebrated life and career.

The library was dedicated on May 31, 2007 and was attended by Billy Graham, former Presidents Carter, Clinton and Bush and a crowd of close to 1,500.

physical setting for the Billy Graham Boyhood Home and Library and an immersive guest experience, all organized around the Billy Graham story of his mission, his ministry and his team.

Distill six decades of archival film, photography, video and audio media, as well as extensive personal memorabilia to visually support a sequence of exhibits that form a cohesive one-hour walk-through presentation.

Design, build and install three dimensional scenics, murals, graphics, casework, props, furnishings, interior finishes, animatronics and exhibit imagery.

Engineer, fabricate, install and program technical support systems, including audio and video systems, exhibit lighting and exhibit automated controls.

Design and produce a visitor café and a Christian bookstore that also displays thousands of Dr. Graham’s personal book collection.

Through coordinated efforts, ITEC was able to bring one hundred years of Changyu Wine to life.

The result was a well-received deliverable package sure to drive forward the legacy of Changyu to everyone who visits Yantai.

ITEC ENTERTAINMENT’S ROLEConceive and execute a themed retail guest experience to serve as the prototypical Disney Asia Store to be executed across 40 retail locations.

PROJECT DESCRIPTIONThis themed retail experience was based, like all Disney Guest experiences, on a premise. ITEC Entertainment brought together the well-known early Disney cartoon characters in a story about filming a movie entitled “Goofy’s Big Bang.” The storyline was entitled “Riot on the Set!” playing upon the often-heard “Quiet on the set!” employed by film directors. The scenic environment depicts the chaotic atmosphere resulting from assembling all the characters for a film shoot.

The story is brought to life by posing the characters at eye level to attract guests from mall public spaces, a concept uniquely offered by ITEC.

THE ITEC SOLUTIONITEC Entertainment created the prototype design in conjunction with the Disney team responsible for the development of the Disney Asia Stores rollout for multiple shop locations primarily in malls. A series of concepts were proposed by ITEC through narratives and sketches for review by Disney, resulting in a single concept selection for further development.

ITEC met with the Disney team to understand the goals and objectives for the retail experience, evaluated the limits of the potential sites, created an adaptable concept to fit multiple store areas and volumes, and developed a design to attract shoppers and reward them with a memorable shopping experience.

ITEC created this filming setting by employing multiple three-dimensional “full-sized” Disney characters, cleverly posed to be the members of this fanciful and comical film crew. Authentically

detailed, finished and colorfully painted, the settings and poses were designed and detailed by ITEC artists and scenic designers under the watchful eye of Disney. Strips of oversized celluloid “film” connect the characters to the action and tie together the storyline.

The execution of these multiple project locations demonstrates how ITEC has been entrusted by some of the world’s best known brands with the proper application of their Intellectual Properties.

THE ITEC SOLUTIONThough it is surrounded by other Disney displays, all vying for the guests' attention, Disney's Internet Zone acts as a "guest magnet" thanks to ITEC‘s skillful use of color, lighting, shapes, and other design elements. ITEC employed simple geometric solids and colorful lighting to give the exhibit a friendly, inviting appearance. Repeated spherical shapes lend thematic unity to the space while pulsing lights and active video monitors help to give guests the sensation that they are "plugged in." Finally, a large serpentine connecting armature mounted above the exhibit allows the I-Zone to literally stand out among its neighbors.

ITEC developed a flexible design for the exhibit‘s many video podiums so that they could be customized for different age groups. The design employed a basic economical form that allowed ITEC to vary the heights, color patterns, and other design elements to make each group of podiums look unique, while adhering to ADA accessibility guidelines.

ITEC was able to offer Disney a "one-stop shopping" approach, made possible by ITEC‘s diverse artistic and technical expertise. This resulted in a complete design and show documentation package, saving Disney valuable production time and money.

This exhibit area played a role in Disney‘s launch of their new Go Portal, and was included in a larger changeable project area in EPCOT Communicore, dubbed The Road to Tomorrow.

POGO HQ is a brightly colored indoor attraction always filled with lively activities, excitement, and fun where park Guests have the opportunity to step inside the world of POGO and be seen on video monitors playing within the attraction or maybe even on the POGO channel itself.

Featured attractions include:

POGO Today! soundstage - POGO’s familiar on-air talent appear to create segments for their popular POGO cable program

Lime Scream stage - A special TV sound stage where everything is painted chroma-green and 5-6 Guests volunteer to “appear” in selected POGO TV segments.

POGO HQ Store

A State-of-the-art broadcast quality control booth capable of not only running everything, but also providing a video disc jockey with all the tools to entertain day and night.

THE ITEC SOLUTIONThe mission ITEC designers faced was creating a family fun environment amidst the glitz and glamour of a Las Vegas casino. The entire hotel is centered on the theme of Robert Louis Stevenson’s great novel “Treasure Island.” The ITEC team put their creative talents to work developing a child’s dream play arena filled with pirates, adventure and great treasures.

ITEC created an authentic looking Moorish castle as the entry to the arcade area. Passing through the gates of the castle, fun-seekers find themselves in the “armory” resplendent with swords, spears and other pirate protection. The veranda overlooks a festive carnival plaza that holds many different types of midway and carnival games. This overlook area also gives parents a place to view their kids while they play.

On the plaza, the various games are set into themed kiosks, completing the unified look of the area. Two large trees cover the plaza, their branches covered with flickering lanterns.

For added engagement, ITEC conceived authentic characters to entertain the young patrons, including: two skeletons spin yarns of pirate battles of yore, their eyes sparkling and torsos twisting; a pirate that shouts warnings to game players and tells animated parrots and chickens to pipe down; and a gypsy that yells

encouragement to the players, urging them to do their best.

By incorporating a sophisticated, custom- designed show control system, combined with imaginative art direction, ITEC completed the project to rave reviews from both owners and guests.

PROJECT DESCRIPTIONThe project brings together multi-levels of entertainment experiences, combining a Water Park, the first Ripley’s Believe It or Not attraction in China, a Guinness World Records, plus extensive themed shopping and dining outlets, and two levels hosting a variety of family-oriented activity and entertainment centers.

Harbin Paradise Park boasts the world’s largest Ripley’s Believe It or Not! attraction including its Odditorium, 4D Theater, Mirror Maze, Haunted Adventure, and Wax Hands. The balance of the attraction development adds multiple significant themed attraction areas to complete a major local and tourist entertainment destination in Harbin. Rainforest Bay Aqua Park – a multi-story indoor water park with pools and caverns, cabanas and multiple slides, zip lines and elevated activity gazebos – caters to entire families of wet adventure seekers. Aiming to draw shoppers, after their Ripley’s and water park experience, is a commercial sector, with nearly a mile of themed storefronts inspired by five world continents. A 70 meter themed drop tower launches guests from the third floor past upper levels and through the roof.

Leveraging the stories and writings of Anne-Cath Vestly, ITEC advanced the development of her characters and created additional new settings consistent with the overarching direction of the author with creative approval from Anne’s decedents, the current IP holders.

PROJECT DESCRIPTIONKnertenland is THE place to see Knerten and all his friends in an indoor-outdoor setting. Enter at Bessby Town Square to experience Lillebro’s’ House, the Garage, the Carpenter’s House, live shows in the Town Theater, and the Big House with its variety of Knerten-inspired activities and rides. Participate in the children’s outside activities in The Forest and relax in Knertenland Park. Stop inside the Anne Cath Vestly Museum where you can gain insight into the life and work of the creator of Knerten, the beloved early childhood character of so many Norwegian children. By thoroughly understanding the direction and intent of Anne-Cath Vestly through a review of her writings and the Knerten films, ITEC was able to further the development of the characters to showcase them in physical settings a nd situations that extended the Knerten legacy and brand. THE ITEC SOLUTIONITEC Entertainment began by inventing a tale about a vehicle designed to search land and sea for the legendary lost city of Atlantis. ITEC combined the sleek organic shapes of aquatic creatures with the aerodynamic contours of modern jet fighters and devised a vehicle to promote SeaWorld of Florida’s new Journey to Atlantis thrill ride and launch a new “adventure park” image. The result, S.E.A. Force One, is part stingray and part F-16 fighter: graceful, yet stealthy and adventurous.

Conceived as a “rolling theme park attraction,” S.E.A. Force One includes fog generators, ripple projectors, a water cannon, a video camera, top-mounted flame-throwing exhaust pipes, a 3,600-

watt audio system, a radio broadcast booth, a tracking satellite dish and a sound board as well as many other entertaining gizmos, gadgets and effects. Squeezing them all into one sleek vehicle that could be transported and driven on public roads required ITEC’s expertise in design, lighting, audio, video, special effects, interiors, art direction and production management.

S.E.A. Force One is actually bigger on the inside than on the outside, thanks to the ingenious use of a hydraulic scissors lift to elevate the opulent 3-passenger cabin several feet above the vehicle. Through this and other creative solutions, ITEC was able to provide a comfortable, stylish ride for the “scientists.”


SCOPE OF WORK Conceive, design and produce a unique,

instantly recognizable promotional vehicle to celebrate the opening of SeaWorld Orlando Florida’s new Journey to Atlantis attraction and herald its new image as an “Adventure Park.”

Maintain street legal mobile dimensions while using a central lift mechanism to create expandable space for a disc jockey, SeaWorld hostess or host, a guest and the driver.

Maximize the vehicle entertainment capability by incorporating multiple “fun” interactive and thematic support effects including a water cannon, video camera and external monitor, water effects lighting, pyrotechnics, fog, PA system and synthesized sound effects.

Integrate mobile radio and television broadcast satellite technologies.

Support all mobile functions with onboard electric power generation independent of the vehicle power train.

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECTITEC created Spider-Man’s Ride Show Supervisor to precisely orchestrate the elements of “ride”, “show’” and guest-interaction. The result is an attraction that provides guests with a very exciting experience while satisfying Universal Studios’ need for reliable performance, cycle after cycle. THE ITEC SOLUTIONSince its spring 1999 debut, The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man has been acclaimed as one of the most exciting theme park rides of all time. Its thrills require the perfect synchronization of many ride and show elements, including rapidly moving motion-base ride vehicles, 70mm 3-D film projection, digital surround audio, live pyrotechnics, and numerous lighting cues and special effects. ITEC Productions® created Spider-Man's Ride Show Supervisor to precisely orchestrate these diverse elements, performing reliably, cycle after cycle. To withstand the rigors of daily operation, ITEC used proven industrial-quality hardware components. ITEC then developed a sophisticated simulation program to extensively test and verify RSS performance under maximum load conditions.

The three equipment racks that contain the Spider-Man RSS are specifically designed for easy maintenance access. Operationally, the RSS is virtually a "hands-off" system, requiring minimal operator intervention. Instead, the system's dual processors split the control responsibilities: one processor automatically handles all the inputs/outputs for the ride’s special effects, operator interface panels, diagnostics, and communications; the other processor, meanwhile, is devoted exclusively to show scene timings.

With so much motion going on in the ride, plus real flames and other major effects, guest and employee safety in Spider-Man is a priority. Manufactured in ITEC‘s U.L.-certified facility, the attraction's RSS ties all the ride sensors and diagnostic systems together, enabling ride operators to continually monitor every element for safety.

THE ITEC SOLUTIONITEC using client-provided verbal descriptions, concept sketches, and movie stills, created the show set drawings for Twister's two major scenes: a tornado-ravaged home interior and the prairie drive-in where the funnel cloud forms. The latter show set uses two-point forced perspective to compress a drive-in movie complex and the vast Kansas prairie into a 120 ft. x 60 ft. space. Several forced-perspective study models were also constructed in order to arrange the many set elements and assure that the illusion of great depth would be convincing.

Additionally, ITEC designed and fabricated the Twister show control system in its UL-approved shop and then installed and programmed it at the show site. The system interfaces with 15 special effects subsystems, each of which controls as many as a dozen different effects, video and/or audio cues (often simultaneously).

The attraction's namesake funnel cloud is generated by over two-dozen fans that circulate almost 2 million cubic feet of air per minute. State-of-the-art variable frequency was also used by ITEC to provide the show’s vortex control system and drive the precise and variable fan speeds to produce the 12-foot wide, 50-foot-tall indoor tornado.

Guests are transported into the future and to a time when man is at war with machines. Guests are first brought “back to the future” by visiting the International Mech War Museum which commemorates the history of the worldwide conflict against a fictional character, Dai Wen, and his army of Mech Warriors. We follow Wang Ping as she and her hero father fight Dai Wen in one final and climatic battle.

THE ITEC SOLUTIONWorking with the Disney Imagineers, ITEC’s designers used intricate scale models, sketches, and color renderings to devise a squadron of fanciful flying machines (inspired by the drawings of artist Rowland Emett) appropriate to each of the Disney characters featured. The mermaid Ariel's flying machine, for example, recalls a wireframe sea turtle while Cinderella rides inside a pumpkin-shaped wireframe aircraft.

ITEC’s designers created intricate scale models of the store's vehicles, characters and graphics to test their placement inside and on the exterior of a scale model of the building. ITEC also worked with the client's engineers to determine the structural supports needed to mount the full-scale flying machines overhead.

ITEC‘s artists and designers turned to Disney's classic animated characters for inspiration when devising witty dimensional display cases, murals and ceiling paintings. In one section, an oversized Alice (of Wonderland fame) appears to have landed inside a cottage atop a mound of plush Disney toys after her famous fall through the rabbit hole. And above the exterior store entrances, ITEC‘s dimensional marquees use cartographic imagery to signal to all who approach that they are about to discover the wonder and enchantment that awaits inside.
