White Tailed Deer are herbivores.

Doe give birth to one to three fawns at once after the gestation period of seven months.

Bucks lose their antlers in the fall and they grow back in the spring.

The White Tailed Deer is the smallest deer family in North America.

Tsuga Canadensis is the scientific name. The Eastern Hemlock grows well in shade

and lives long.

It is a native tree to eastern North America.

The wood is soft and it is air dried.
