My name is Pablo and together we’re going to work through this booklet! I know that sometimes it can be a bit hard to know what’s going on in your head so I’m here to try and make everything a little bit clearer.
Brains and emotions are funny things. All through your life you’re going to find yourself in situations that make your feelings go all over the place, so it’s important to learn how to deal with these situations now to stop them from becoming big and scary in the future.
This is a book just for you! You don’t have to show anyone what’s in here, not even your teacher! This space is for you to write what you’re really feeling without worrying what anyone else will think. If you feel happy to, it can be really helpful to talk about your feelings with other people though. Remember that you have lots of friends in this class who care about you and want you to be happy! At lunchtime Polly, Pedro, Peter and Pippa came and sat with me while we were eating our fish sandwiches and they said that mine smelled the best! Then they asked me to go ice sliding with them after school and my mummy said that I could!

Gosh hasn’t this gone quickly! I can’t believe it’s time to say goodbye already!
Thank you for helping me get to know my feelings throughout this book, I hope that you feel nice and confident to go on into the future and not have to worry about worrying! Just remember that it’s very normal to feel a bit upset and worried sometimes, but keep thinking about those things that make you smile.
