    Volume I / 2019, Issue 63 A Periodical on “Safety in Construction”

    Pen Point

All our Project sites across India celebrated the

48th National Safety Day (NSD) and Company

Safety Week with full enthusiasm. Celebrating

NSD and Safety Week in unique way involving

staff, workers, clients and other stakeholders is an

excellent way of creating awareness and a step

closer to developing Safety Culture. We have

included few good photos of celebrations

organised at Project sites, HO and Branch offices.

From this year, instead of calendar year we will

monitor KPI data from 01 April 2019 to 31 Mar

2020. Also in addition to participating in NSC

awards, we are also planning to apply for the

International Safety Award from British Safety

Council (BSC). We will need full support from

concerned project sites. Generally BSC focuses

more on system development & implementation.

At sites we undertake many Critical & High Risk

activities and also execute them to the

satisfaction of client and authorities. Deputing

competent & experienced workers for such

critical jobs will not only help in getting

uninterrupted production but also could be

    completed in stipulated time frame.

We have prepared an Action Plan for the

migration from OHSAS 18001:2007 to ISO

45001:2018. We have kept a target to review

Policy, Procedures and Formats by Jun 2019 and

will go for Recertification through DNV-GL in

    Nov 2019.
