• PEEP is a partnership project involving 5 stakeholders;

• Outcome of a visit by the then Minister for the Disabled to the Port of Pembroke (June 2014) - he expressed a desire to ensure that SMEs in South Pembrokeshire had a mechanism for support for managing H&S risks;

• Principle aim: for the stakeholders to pool knowledge/ resources to provide free tailored health and safety information and advice to help businesses sensibly manage workplace risks.

• 8 Industrial estates were targeted by an officer from HSE, PCC or Workboost Wales:

– Withybush; – Snowdrop Lane; – Honeyborough; – West Llanion; – Brunel Quay; – Waterston; – Waterloo; – Thornton

• Why? The targeting of a large number of employers in a geographical area contributed to the best use of available resources.
