Too much spontaneity might not work in your favor when explaining com-plex ideas today. You could trip over your own words in your eagerness to present your perspective to others. For-tunately, a small amount of preparation puts your thoughts in order, giving you the structure you need to make your point. Don’t be afraid of committing to a specific plan; ironically, working within a rigid framework will free you to be more creative than you can imagine.
You may be pushed to follow through with your commitment today if you re-cently promised to help someone reach his or her dreams. Unfortunately, the situation at work has changed and you must be more practical now than you had hoped. Normally, you’re a paragon of simplicity; you say what you’re going to do and then you do it in a straight-forward manner. However, progress appears to be a crooked path. Don’t give up, even if everything takes much longer than you expect. In the final analysis, your unwavering determina-tion is your greatest asset.
Your thoughts are wandering all over the place today and your coworkers might think that you’ve lost your bear-ings. However, nothing could be further from the truth. You know where you’re going; you’re just not sure how to get there. Fortunately, you’re willing and able to navigate on the fly. There’s no need to wait until you have a plan in place before you start to talk. Take any-one along who is willing to travel with you but don’t try to recruit those who have a different agenda.
Your perceptions are very sharp today but you don’t necessarily want to ex-press your point of view. You may at-tempt to hold out by guarding your se-crets with a stony silence. Meanwhile, powerful people continue to request, even demand, that you reveal what you know. Eventually, your resistance begins to fade, leaving you with a good feeling about participating in the group process. The idea of helping others outweighs your need to fly beneath the radar
Interpersonal dynamics on the job seem to grow more convoluted day by day. Just when you think you’ve figured everything out, another problem pops up like a carnival game of Whack-a-Mole. Try as you might, you can’t keep up with all the changes. Nevertheless, walking away is not an option. Continue to react to each crisis as calmly as pos-sible, but take this as a gentle reminder that you are human and do not possess super-hero powers. Successful people make mistakes but they never quit.
You may be sending mixed messages at work today without being aware of it. Perhaps you are trying to keep your options open while others are looking to you for a succinct answer. But you’re being pulled simultaneously in two differ-ent directions now, and it is driving you crazy. Although your powers of rational analysis often function effortlessly, logic fails you if it can’t resolve your dilemma. Trust your intuition not your intellect for the best results.
You believe that adopting a philosophi-cal approach to life will help you shake up your old routine and empower you to embark on a new course. However, people around you are less interested in your conceptual thinking now than they are in seeing solutions in real time. But it’s not realistic to think you can completely avoid communication today. Instead of talking about the unrealized potential of the future, concentrate on small actions in the present moment that will positively impact the world around you.
Your thinking process is quite circuitous and could even be devious now as you strive to reach your goals. You’re intrigued by people’s reactions to your ideas, but they won’t always share their private thoughts with you. The harder you push others to reveal what’s on their minds today, the thicker they will build their walls of armor. Don’t force your potential supporters further under-ground; take a few steps back and give everyone plenty of room to breathe.
People around you are so chatty today that it begins to grate on your nerves. Ironically, you’re often the one who can be so talkative that others request your silence. Nevertheless, the tables are turned now and you might not be very diplomatic in your search for peace and quiet. It doesn’t cost anything to be nice; a little kindness on your part soothes everyone’s ruffled feathers. A taste of your own medicine is good for you every once in a while.
You are apt to use your persuasive communication skills at work today in order to move closer to achieving your long-term goals. Unfortunately, your in-teractions with others are stressful now because your current objectives could run into a conflict of interest with theirs. Cut yourself some slack and seek ways to nurture your spirit, rather than relent-lessly aiming at the summit. Sometimes you need to let down your guard and let the good times roll. Adapting to change leads to success.
You express your creativity so subtly today that people in your immediate environment could easily misread your energy. Others may see you as self-protective now and slightly withdrawn. But you are actually eager to demon-strate your emotional availability to someone you trust, even if this type of vulnerability normally makes your skin crawl. Finding safe ways to share your feelings is a win-win endeavor for eve-ryone involved.
You might not be in the mood to be the star of the show now. Fortunately, you can use this time constructively to quietly work behind the scenes and build up the confidence of those around you. People will respect your dedication even more if you are unwavering in your drive to do your best while remaining out of the spotlight. There’s no need to shout your feelings from the rooftop; you’ll receive the recognition you deserve when you least expect it
