Mia meets Andrew Bogut One of our students Mia was lucky enough to attend a basketball academy with Andrew Bogut—NBA star! What a lucky girl—I am sure she learned lots whilst at the academy! Footy Parade Don’t forget tomorrow we are holding our world famous...ok….Pearcedale famous...Footy Parade. All children are encouraged to come in their club colours. I will be able to get out my Tiger gear for one last time after their loss last Sunday! Wakakirri On Tuesday our wonderfully amazing Wakakirri performers together with the team of teachers who assisted them develop such a wonderful story performed at Hamer Hall. Although they did not win they were outstanding and made us all proud to say they were representing Pearcedale. I would like to thank everyone involved—students parents and teachers– what a sensational team! In particular I would like to thank Mrs Blundy for her work coordinating the school team and to Katie Davies our wonderful choreographer and teacher of the Wakakirri team. Year 3 Camp Yesterday I visited the Year 3 Camp - what an amazing time they are having as you can see by the photos below!

On Thursday 27th August our amazing Preps

braved the rain and set off to visit the

Melbourne Zoo.

Despite the lack of sunshine, the Preps had a

fantastic day visiting many creatures great

and small.

The baby hippo, playful monkeys, beautiful

butterflies were all favourites.

A big thank you to all our Parent Helpers for

making our Zoo Adventure possible.

I am sure we all slept very well that night!
