Ny Sothoun

Sothoun was quiet, spending his time only working on his studies. But now he has become

much more social. He likes telling stories and he shares God’s word. He wants to be a

pastor in the future. (Grade: 8)

He is thankful that his sponsors provide support and he is praying for them every day.



Phat Phalla

Phalla is a funny, honest boy. Sometimes Phalla can gossip or likes listening to others, but

he is generous and is good at sharing. Phalla wants to be an engineer in his future.

(Grade: 7)

He is so happy and thankful to have his sponsors who love him and have God’s incomparable

love.



Oum Sopheak

Sopheak at first did not want to be involved in activities around her. She was shy and

never smiled. Now, she has changed quite a bit and has become a busy girl. In the future

she wants to be a teacher of traditional Cambodian dancing. (Grade: 4)

She is very happy and very thankful to have her sponsor and she prays for them every day!



Chi Timothy

Timothy used to make up story about his friends and often search out attention. But he

has grown in character a lot already. Timothy is brave, able to talk with anyone even people

older than him. He shares with those around him and prays for his house parents and

sponsors. (Grade: 2)

He is thankfully and happy to have his sponsors!



Chi Rebeka

Rebeka used to be a very quite girl, who did not smile much. When she first came, she

struggled with taking other children’s belongings. But now, she has become a good friend.

She loves studying, reading the Bible and in her free time she helps by washing clothes.

(Grade: 2)

She’s delighted and grateful to have her sponsors and she keeps them in her prayers.



Him Senghong

Senghong was a loner, spending his time by himself. He did not make any effort in school

and sometimes he would make up negative stories about the other kids. Now, his attitude

has changed. Right now Senghong is more caring and has begun to enjoy his studies.

(Grade: 2)

He prays for his sponsors. It makes him very happy to have them!



Phon Seyha

Seyha is a good listener but sometimes he can be a little careless and loses things from

time to time. However, he is very helpful and enjoys working with others and praising God.

Right now he needs to grow in self-confidence. When he grows up he wants to be an

engineer. (Grade: 4)

He’s very happy and thankful to have his sponsors who love him and learn about God who

has incomparable love.



Ron Longdich

Longdich was a shy girl. She hid her own emotions but would talk behind other’s backs. But

now she changed a lot. She has become more confident and brave, able to lead in singing

praise songs. She has learned about what is good friendship and she considers other’s

needs and feelings. Longdich likes to cook and help in the kitchen. She likes reading the

Bible and praying for her sponsor. In her future, she wants to be a nurse. (Grade: 8)

She’s so grateful and thankful to have her sponsors who are taking heart to love her so

much.



Ron Kimhou

When Kimhou first came she was so sad and hardly ever smiled. She would rarely talk with

the others. But now she is coming out of her shell. She shares her food with her friends

and she sings praise songs and prays for people who get sick. (Grade: 1)

She’s very delighted and grateful to have her sponsors and she keep prays for them.



Rin Sreyroth

Sreyroth is an outgoing girl. She is diligent to her studying and responsible with whatever

we entrust her to do. She has grown from talking behind people’s back to helping a lot in

her group of friends with singing songs, doing homework and talking about Bible stories. In

her future she wants to be a professor. (Grade: 3)

She’s so glad, giving thanks to God that her sponsors can provide for her so that she may

live in her Orphan-Home.



Raksmey Yohan

Yohan is brave boy with many questions. He has made a lot of friends and he is not afraid

to speak with older people. He watches his house parents and it is very common for Yohan

to ask, “Dad, what are you doing? Why this? Why that?” He is an obedient boy who tries

hard with his studies and is very smart. (Grade: 1)

He’s very happy and thankful to have his sponsors and he never forgets to pray for them.



Tim Sophan

Sophan has been through a lot. When he first came he was an angry boy. Often he would

bully with cruel words and hit or kick, trying to start fights. But, by God’s grace he has

almost fully changed. Sophan has become obedient, choosing to be careful with his

actions. He is very intelligent, in his free time he loves reading, and learning. He is even

teaching mathematics to his friends. So now he is a group leader of the boys at home. In

his future, Sophan wants to be a doctor. (Grade: 8)

He’s delighted and very thankful to have his sponsors.



Tim Socheata

Socheata is a quiet girl who is quick to listen and she is a friend to many. She is

responsible to whatever we entrust her to do. She is very helpful in the kitchen. In her

free time she likes reading the Bible and learning about God. In the future she wants to be

a beautician. (Grade: 7)

She’s so grateful to have her sponsors who care for her.



Tim Sophy

Sophy used to have a difficult time with keeping friends. She would talk behind people’s

backs and did not smile. She had a lot of mistrust. However, now she has stopped doing

those hurtful things and by God’s grace her heart has hope. She now also considers

other’s needs and emotions. In the future she wants to be a nurse. (Grade: 5)

She is thankfully and happy to have her sponsors.



Yon SomphorsSomphors is an industrious, gentle boy who is diligent to his studies and likes to cook. He

has good relationships with others, friendly and helpful. He also likes praise songs, and has

become the worship leader at church, Hope Fellowship. We lovingly call Somphors the

“available boy” because he is seemingly always able to help. In the future, he wants to be a

director of orphan home. (Grade: 9)

He’s very delighted and thankful to God to have his sponsors who are taking a stand for

his future.



Pen Monny

Monny was once a jealous girl who was very unhappy. She had trouble with friends because

of gossip. But now she has learned love and has changed. She feels sympathy for others

and is quick to shares some of her food or cloths with others in the house. She loves

learning and in the future, she wants to be a teacher. (Grade: 3)

She is thankfully and happy to have her sponsor!



Nov Theara

Theara is a soft-spoken child who is diligent in his studies. He never complains and enjoys

playing music and volleyball. In fact, he has been learning more about music from the older

boys who play in the praise band. In his free time he likes to read the Bible and pray for

his sponsors. In the future he wants to be an engineer. (Grade: 3)

He is thankfully and happy to have his sponsor!



Ouk Theara

Theara used to be a bit of a bully. He did not care about school or about others. He would

start fights in his group of boys. But now, his attitude has changed. He takes to heart

what his house parents and friends say and has begun to enjoy learning by putting more

time and patience into his studies. When he grows up, Theara would like to be a policeman.

(Grade: 8)

He’s very happy he never forgets to pray for his sponsors and others always!



Chan Marida

Marida is a kind girl and diligent to studying. She never complains about anything and she is

friendly to everyone. She also is always willing to share some of her clothes with her

friends. (Grade: 2)

She is thankfully and happy to have her sponsor!



Oum Sophea

Sophea is a quiet girl. Although she sometimes does not want to help or do her homework

she is good at sharing food and clothes with friends. At times Sophea has trouble listening

and grumbling but she loves praying for others and her sponsors. (Grade: 1)

She is so grateful and thankful to have her sponsors who are care for her.
