PDW TRAINING COURSES

MP9 MP9-N MP45

The MP Series of PDWs are the lightest, most compact, and ergonomic small arms of it’s category available today. While possessing “operationally user friendly” features and benefits, a comprehensive program of instruction (POI) is necessary to allow the operator to achieve maximum benefit and gain with adoption of these systems.

B&T is pleased to offer a series of training programs focused upon providing confidence and skill sets applicable to a variety of environments including:

1 Low profile work in civilian areas while maintaining OPSEC.2 Surveillance and Overwatch in conflict environments.3 Vehicular VIP Security Escort Operations- Armed.4 Public Safety/Police Patrols

B&T’s modularity of training programs may be adapted to meet any mission requirements, unit size, and on-site locales. All B&T instructors are certified compliant in multi-echelon small arms disciplines, have considerable on-site experience with numerous cultures, global environments, and skill levels allowing program participants to achieve measurable skill sets and competency post program(s) completion.

The three day Basic Operator Course (BOP) is recommended as mandatory for those groups adopting and integrating the MP Series PDWs. This POI includes the following subjects:

• Manual of Arms-Operation and Handling• Fire Controls/Safety/Loading-Unloading• PDW zeroing iron sights/Micro T1 and Other MP Accessories• MP Series Operational deployment/Sling Usage/Carry Modes• Practical Firing Positions- Static/Moving/In- Out of Vehicle• Target Engagement- Single & Multiple/Use of Cover• Stoppage Drills• Secondary Weapons Transition Techniques• First Echelon Maintenance• Competency Examination

Upon successful completion of BOP, a two day Advanced Operator Program (AOP) is offered including the following:

• CMS• Deployment from carry system/Holster Retention Methods• Low Light Target Engagement• Shooting during movement• Immediate Threat Response• Enviromental Awareness and Threat Minimization/Reduction of Collateral Non- Threat Casualties• MP deployment while injured • Use of Force Scaling• Practical “Force on Force” exercises (simulation) using less lethal Simunition or UTM systems
