Problems are there to be solved.That is the idea behind MagicDrive+, our alternative manoeuvring system. No matter what the handicap,

it should be perfectly easy to steer and use the wheelchair actively.

This system is so flexible that it solves most problems. A slight turn of the head or the slightest

movement of a finger is enough.

MagicDrive+ includes a number of different functions which are connected to the basic unit. In practice

this is how the electronics can be customised to the needs of the user of the chair. Each chair is adapted

to the individual person.

It is well known that advanced technology makes things possible which previously were unthinkable. For

many disabled people the MagicDrive+ means being able to do things themselves instead of being forced

to ask for help.

BENEFITS OF MAGICDRIVE+ ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL

Simple control of theMagicDrive+ EC by means of a clear display with text,icons or speech, and a well-thought-out menu structure.Available in Dutch, German,English, French and Italian.

The built-in infrared trans-mitter contains a number offixed codes whereby remotelycontrolling switches, a com-puter mouse and a telephoneare some of the possibilities.

The standard infrared trans-mitter can ‘learn’ up to 200codes from existing remotecontrols. In this way a largepart of the environment canimmediately be controlled.

Various optional modules are available that make theMagicDrive+ EC the mostcomplete system on the market.

Easy to reissue on account ofan extensive and standardinstallation package.

The set-up can easily bemodified by the user and thedealer themselves.

With an integrated control system you can not only con-trol your wheelchair in a self-reliant and independent way,but can also operate your communications and environ-ment equipment - and all thiswith the same display.

Available on wheelchairs forboth adults and children.

The plug & play system ensu-res that applications and ope-rating methods are quick andeasy to realise. Furthermorethere is then no new systemneeded.

On account of the wide choi-ce of special controls such asjoystick, mini-joystick, finger-joystick, scanning, etc., thereis a solution for operatingthe MagicDrive+ EC availableto everyone.

The MagicDrive+ EC graphi-cal display can also be usedseparately from the wheel-chair (stand-alone). Thismeans that it is not necessaryto purchase a second system.

A simple and flexible configu-ration makes it possible toset up the MagicDrive+ ECaccording to your personalwishes.

Wheelchair tray controlJoystick is integrated inwheelchair tray.

MagicDrive+ EC does not only control thewheelchair. It can alsocontrol the TV, the radioand lighting in house bymeans of an integratedcontrol system.

SUBD9P – 3.5 mmjack adapter for extrakeyWith the SUBD9P – 3.5 mmJack adapter as an adaptercable it is possible to connectan extra switch to the MD+EC interface. This can be used as the right mouse button of the computermouse, provided this is a 3.5 mm Jack plug connector.

BINDER – 3.5 mmJack adapterIf the graphical display is usedin stand-alone mode, a func-tion switch can be connectedto the graphical display usingthe BINDER – 3.5 mm Jackadapter as an adapter cable.

- all special forms of operating the MD+ EC incombination with stand-alone.

• The following can be connected to the 3-pole DIN BINDER:- a touch contact.- all individual switches withthe aid of the DIN3P – 3.5 mm Jack adapter.

SUBD9P – DIN3Padapter for extra keyUsing the SUBD9P – DIN3Padapter as an adapter cable it is possible to connect anextra contact switch to theMD+ EC interface. This canbe used as the right mousebutton switch for the computer mouse. The touchcontact can be connected toit directly.

DIN3P – 3.5 mm JackadapterThe DIN3P – 3.5 mm Jackadapter cable is an adaptercable between the interfaceand a function switch. Anyswitch required can be connected to a 3.5 mm Jack plug.
