Who is this course for?This newly redesigned course is aimed at the aspiring professional marketer who wishes to gain the knowledge and skills to succeed and progress within a career in marketing. The qualification provides a practical insight into the principles and application of marketing at a tactical level.

How long does the course last for?Typically students complete this course in 12 to 18 months but the new modular pathway qualification has been structured to reflect the need for a flexible approach. Therefore each module can also be taken as a self-contained award which can be built up to attain the full certificate.

Where will I study?All classes take place at our new refurbished Moorgate campus with evening classes running from 6pm - 9pm and block courses running from 9.30am - 4.30pm.

How much are the fees?When you enrol for a minimum of two modules, each module is charged at £650 each. Alternatively if you enrol for just one module it will be charged at £700. Please note additional fees are payable direct to the CIM for their studying membership and for each assessment undertaken.

How am I assessed?You will be assessed across the modules using a blend of assignments, examinations and portfolio work.

What will I study?To gain the full qualification you are required to complete three of the four following modules:

• Marketing • Integrated Communications• Customer Experience (Elective)• Digital Marketing (Elective)

What are the entry requirements?To gain entry to this qualification students require one of the following; CIM Level 3 Introductory Certificate in Marketing qualification, any UK degree or international equivalent or an International Baccalaureate (equivalent to NQF Level 3 and above). We also accept students who have experience in professional practice.

What if I have completed modules on the previous syllabus?You are exempt from the ‘Marketing’ module on the new syllabus if you have previously completed Marketing Essentials and Assessing the Marketing Environment after 2008 on the previous Certificate.
