PDF files can be created quickly and easily from the Print Window.

Click on the button show details. This opens the extended print preview. Set the Printoptions as desired. Then use the PDF switch in the lower left corner.

Click on Save as PDF…. The Save-Dialog of macOS opens. Enter the Filename of thePDF in it.

In addition, further options for creating the PDF file can be found here:

• Tags (Tags used in macOS Finder)

• Title (title of document)

• Author (_author and copyright holder of the document)

• Subject

• Keywords

These are optional settings that can be used for requirement.

PDF security options

The button Security Options… offers optional Protection of the PDF file and thecontents contained therein by means of a Password.

2 PDF security options

Save as single-sided PDF

To create a one-page PDF, select the menu Store → Export and its Options.

In the Export dialog click on the Format Image.

The Export Setting of the image appears on the right side:

• Project view (click on the loupe to select the project view for printing)

• Areas (structure and Gantt or only one of the two areas)

• Watermark

• Format (image format in our case *PDF vector graphic)

Click on the loupe and specify which project view(s) should appear in the one-page

Add more project views with a click on the Plus. Then click on the entries in the list todetermine the views.

Specify which areas you want to export as single-page PDF.

4 Save as single-sided PDF

For example, select the option for Watermark to add a own image to the PDF.

If a watermark is already used in the print settings of the project, it canbe applied directly.

With a mouse click on the loupe the settings for the watermark appear.

Then click on Next. In the dialog box, enter a Filename for the PDF and select the desiredLocation. Finally click on Export.

A PDF created in this way is suitable for forwarding to project participants by email orprinting on a large format printer.
