The Vicious Cycle of Drug

Abuse

Page 11: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

A Drug Lord Injects a Pusher in a

Community

Page 12: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

The Drug Lord then Supplies Free Drugs to

the Community

Page 13: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

When a group of users are already addicted to dangerous drugs,

The Drug Lord abruptly cuts the supply of freebies

Page 14: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

Users now are already addicts, since the free drugs are already cut off, they now

buy their dose of drugs.

Page 15: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

They now work to feed their addictions, food on the table is

gone, bills are starting to pile up, automatically they do not perform in their jobs, eventually they will

get fired.

Page 16: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

Now jobless they start selling their properties to

feed their addictions

Page 17: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

Eventually, all properties and belongings are gone, their families leave them because of their erratic

behaviors.

Page 18: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

Couple overdosed leaving their child unattended

Page 19: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

Another angle

Page 20: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

Now alone and penniless they now resort to criminality to feed

their addictions.

Page 21: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

They will start to commit robberies (which can lead to homicides) and theft.

Page 22: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

OR

Page 23: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

They can start selling drugs to

continue the Vicious cycle

Page 24: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug
Page 25: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

The number of addicts and pushers grow, lets be frugal about the number of people

who will be hooked and eventually become pushers.

Page 26: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

one will become ten, ten will become one

hundred, one hundred will become thousands

Page 27: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

The ADDICT will eventually become

a PUSHER

Page 28: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

THE PUSHER ALSO AN ADDICT WILL EVENTUALLY USE HIS STASH OF

ILLEGAL DRUGSNOW, THE DRUG LORD WILL NOTICE WHY THE

SALES OF ILLEGAL DRUGS ARE GOING DOWN YET HE KEEPS ON SUPPLYING DRUGS TO THE COMMUNITY. HE THEN FINDS OUT THAT HIS TRUSTED DEALER USED THE ILLEGAL DRUGS

FOR HIS OWN CONSUMPTION

Page 29: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

WHAT HAPPENS

NEXT?

Page 30: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

SINCE HE HAS A LOT OF DEALERS ON HAND, HE

NOW MAKES AN EXAMPLE OF THE

DEALER WHO USED HIS SUPPLY.

Page 31: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

AN EXAMPLE OF A DEALER WHO USED HIS SUPPLY.

Page 32: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

And another

Page 33: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

Drug dealers are executed in the most horrifying ways just to make a point. Drug Lords wont tolerate

theft in their syndicate.

Page 34: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

So where is the DRUG LORD? He is somewhere enjoying the fruits of his

labor at the cost of others. There is an unspoken rule with regards to drug

lords

“don’t use what you sell”

Page 35: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug

Even drug lords know that their illegal

drugs isn't good for them.

Page 36: PDEA lectures on Philippine's War on Drug
