PDCWG Activities

• Will meet January 13.– Review December disturbances.

• Early withdrawal of Primary Frequency Response observed on 3 events in December. See last slide for an example. This is a concern for Nodal Operation and the difference in RRS deployment from Zonal Operation.

– Operating Guide and Protocol synchronization.– DER

• Test procedure review.• Develop frequency profile during breaker open disturbances

for timing of DER response.– ERCOT Frequency RMS1 2009 analysis. Box plot

analysis added to report.• Next meeting February 10.
