29th Annual Friends of Tennis Scholarship Round Robin Event at PCTC

Our 2019 Tennis Scholarship Winners are Sky Buck, Roberto Carrascosa, and Daniella Velikorostov.

EVENT DATE: Saturday, May 11 9AM—12Noon (Check-in starts at 8:30AM)

COST: $25.00 per person (Round Robin and lunch) $12 (lunch only)

In addition, there is a Silent & Live Auction as well as a 50/50 Raffle. The Friends of Tennis selects this fun event every year to raise funds for future student

and an Award Winning Photographer?" The Answer is YES!

Tennis players, photographers, and members of Friends of Tennis, Lois and Ted Markowski and Adelet Kegley became winners of the Annual Photography Club of Flagler County (PCFC) competition on Tuesday, April 10th at the Peabody Auditorium in Daytona Beach. PCFC invited renowned White House Photographer Larry Downing to judge the pictures submitted by club members. Mr. Downing was the White House photographer for four former United States Presidents. After viewing over 30 entries, he selected Adelet Kegley's picture entitled "Evening Light On Lake Disston”, as the Best of Show. Ted Markowski’s picture "Flying Colors" won for his category! RACQUET STRINGING

As many of you know, PCTC offers racquet stringing for $18, plus cost of string. We now sell dampeners as well! Annual Pass Hold-ers receive a 10% discount on gear such as strings, grips, dampen-ers and balls. The strings we offer are Synthetic Gut PPS, Reflex MLT and Velocity MLT. If you are unsure of what type of string or

amount of tension needed, our instructors are happy to help you with that. Once your racquet is done (typically 1-3 days), you will receive an emailed invoice showing the amount due. Once you receive the invoice, this will be the only notice you will receive that your racquet is ready to be picked up. You may pay the balance due online if you wish, before coming to pick it up.
