    Benefits of Standing

In our modern culture we are more sedentary and sit way to much. Here are some reasons to stand. *Excessive sitting impacts our bodies metabolic system: Today our bodies are breaking down from obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, can-cer, depression and other health issues that all come form what doctors are calling sitting dis-ease. *Sedentary lifestyles increase the risk of cardio-vascular diseases. For those that sit most of the day, their risk of heart attack is about the same as a smoker. *Combating sitting with gym time may not re-verse the effect of sitting up to 8 hours a day. The obvious remedy is to stand and walk more. Doing so increases energy, burns more calories, tones muscles, improves posture, increases blood flow and ramps up metabolism. JUST STAND!
