We are pleased to be back at the historic Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach for the 2016 Annual Meeting. With a top-notch line up of speakers and sessions, the educational and informational value of this meeting is

sure to impress. We are thrilled that you and your industry colleagues are here for this important event.

This year’s meeting will feature a keynote address by best-selling author, strategist and consultant John Gerzema on Discovering Dynamic Trends. There will be a session with Facebook’s Eva Press

who will cover how people-based digital platforms are impacting the beauty industry as well as consumer shopping experiences in general. Panel discussions will focus on social media, branding and the online community and working with your supply chain to create compliant, sustainable products. In addition, there will be a 2016 election analysis and much more. The world of personal care products is an exciting and vibrant industry. By bringing inspired people together at meetings like this, we can ensure that the Council and our members remain at the cutting edge.

She then moved to Global Accounts as a Global Business Manager, providing strategic consultations to key global advertisers such as Unilever, Nestle and ABInBev, to help them and their agencies grow their business by understanding marketing in a digital and mobile world. Before joining Facebook, Eva spent 10 years in Brand Management at Kraft Foods, leading such iconic brands as Planters Nuts and Oreo Cookies.

Guest SpeakerAmee Chande, Managing Director for the UK of the Alibaba Group Global E-Commerce: What’s Happening in China?Amee Chande, Managing Director for the UK of the Alibaba Group, will help attendees understand how to become involved in e-commerce in China. Alibaba is China’s, and by some measures, the world’s biggest online commerce company, and is a marketplace, search engine, and a bank, all in one. Chande will share her insights on China’s most popular destination for online shopping, and in the world’s fastest growing e-commerce market. Chande joined the Alibaba Group in 2015, where she is charged with building the UK office as the hub for the Alibaba Group in Europe and bringing the Alibaba ecosystem to UK businesses and consumers. Prior to joining Alibaba, Chande served as Managing Director of NutriCentre, a health and wellness subsidiary of Tesco. She previously spent four years with Staples, most recently as Managing Director of the UK business. Prior to that, she held a number of senior roles at Walmart, and was a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Company.
