WWJWD: WHAT WOULD JOHN WESLEY DO? The Church of the Nazarene draws its theological lineage from the Methodist tradition started by John Wesley in the 18th century. Wesley lived during a time of radical change in England and almost singlehandedly brought about a revival that changed the direction of Christianity and profoundly shaped how churches live out the faith today. For four Wednesday nights, starting August 12 at 7:00 pm in Lee Chapel, Pastor's Summer Series will celebrate the influence of John Wesley and deal with three questions: Who is John Wesley? How did his life change the church and start a revival? And if Wesley were alive today, what would he want the ministry of his theological ancestors to look like?
