Bio

Hi, I’m Pawel Utr, an expeienced multidisciplinay designer, witer, and a BA graduate of the University of Wroclaw. Digital at heat, a product consultant passionate about building unforgettable brands and smat, intuitive, engaging, interactive expeiences. I have had the pleasure of working alongside many inspiing people, with amazingly progressive companies (Leantesting, Datacloud.ai, Cambidge Cancer Genomics, Keller Williams, Foodetective,Zety, Untill, Mailgun, and more).

I am most comI am most comfotable working in Sketch (paired up with a handful of useful plugins for workflow optimization). I know the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator) like the back of my hand. Wireframes I usually sketch out with pen and paper or with Adobe Draw on an iPad; polished versions are later built out in Sketch. Craft, InVision, Flinto, and Pinciple are my go-to tools for prototyping and creating simple animations.

Above all, I am an eager to lean self-stater, who loves shaing already gained knowledge and expeience. Anytime an oppotunity appears to lift a person up, I jump at it. I stive to create purposeful work of enduing value;wwork that has a social impact and makes a significant contibution to people’s lives.

Netguu - Product Designer May 2018 - Present

Mailgun - Design LeadLeading project effots and redefining Mailgun as a sevice provider, strategising for future development and rredesigning their web app to incorporate new features (e.g. inbox placement, email templates, email address validation). Collaborating closely with Mailgun’s CTO, Product Owners, and Directors of Product and Marketing to create a cohesive expeience. Overseeing the work of 3 other Product Designers and mentoing the less expeienced ones, making sure that as a team we only deliver our best work.

Untill - Design LeadRethinking the UX and redesigning the UI of a complex web application that has been in use for of 11 years with a loyal user base. New functionalities being added that pile up over time with little logical connections. A tool for managing managing restaurant chains - including sales monitoing, inventoies, employee working hours etc. Mentoing a Junior Designer (who was later promoted) and together deliveing a great product on a tight schedule.

WordguuAn intenal R&D project, a charades game one can play on any device; built with PWA and Vue.js. Designing thebrand, game screens, a responsive landing page, and choosing game sounds.

Keller WilliamsCollaborating closely with teams at Netguu and KW to deliver cutting-edge web and mobile applications for a global leader in real estate management. Designing, prototyping, testing, and iterating new features of KW Command, KW Connect, and eCommand, KW Connect, and evey KW agent's AI-powered mobile personal assistant - Kelle.

Opps & other notable engagements- Mentoing newly-onboarded Junior Designers- Taking pat in and later leading pre-sales activities such as expet calls (e.g. Market Dojo, Randstad, Kitchenrestock).- Breaking down prospective projects into tasks, prepaing timeline and cost estimations.- Paticipating in Product Design Spints and Product Discovey Spints, witing user personas and sections of PDS repots.- Witing content for the Netguu blog / Medium.

“Inclusion Sparks Innovation” - DEI at NetguuLaunching a grassroots DEI initiative that led e.g. to company-wide (500+ people) actions aiming to rethink Netguu’s corporate values via the world café method, workshops and hopefully to diminishing unconscious bias inrecuitment.

#TECZACo-Co-founding a previously non-existent lgbt+ network within Netguu. A meeting / conversation space called TECZA(”rainbow” in Polish).

Cambidge Cancer GenomicsCCG builds precision oncology solutions for all patients. Their technology can detect relapse earlier than standard of care, predict response to therapy more accurately & reduce ineffective treatment regimens. A web application combining combining tools for doctors and a platfom for patients to stay up-to-date. I’ve joined an inspired team and helped refine flows, created wireframes, designed final UI screens and prepared prototypes for stakeholder demos.
