Math: They have been working really hard learning the customary and metric measurement systems. Students will continue to solve conversion word problems with those systems as well as completing time conversions.
Reading: Students will soon be reading biographies to go along with our nonfiction unit. Be on the lookout for the Wax Museum date as students will dress like their famous person.
Science: Throughout the next several weeks, fourth graders will be studying animals. They will learn how animals use behavior and body adaptations to help them survive their environments. On April 10th, we will be heading to Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC to observe these adaptations.
