Paul WirthsOur company represents 85 years of experience on high

quality cutlery from Solingen, Germany. Mr. Paul Wirths

founded a polishing plant in 1926 starting to work for

to the local cutlery industry. In the following years he

esta blished as a manufacturer on high quality tableware

producing for many international companies as well as

starting to introduce his own tableware series in the

European markets.

Today Paul Wirths Bestecke GmbH & Co. KG is a supplier

of high quality cutlery which satisfies the highest demands

of international markets in terms of design, quality and

functionality. In over 85 years in company history four

generations have accumulated excellent knowledge and

outstanding experience in working with stainless steel

products – knowledge and experience which you can

trust implicitly.

Cutlery Know HowA new cutlery must meet the modern requirements such

as dishwasher durability and easy use. Paul Wirths cutlery is 100 % dishwasher safe as all patterns are

made out of 18/10 stainless steel.

High quality knives are made out of two different mate-

rials. The combination of a very hard blade steel and the

stainless 18/10 steel for the handle combines a resistance

against corrosion with the need for very long sharpness.

1. Silver platedPaul Wirths cutlery can be silver plated. All Lines get

a new touch and look, once getting covered with a 100 g

silver layer.

2. Gold platedAll lines are plated with 24 carat gold.

3. Decor satin finishWhy not have polished cutlery getting partial satin

finished patterns will have a new look, you wouldn‘t

had expected. Paul Wirths has this already done for

you – check it out!

4. SolingenWhat do you think of when you read or hear the name

“Solingen”? Probably knives, cutlery or scissors. What

you may not be aware of, however, is that Solingen is

the name of a town in Germany and that this town is

the center of the German cutlery and scissor-making

industry. Cutlery, and indeed, blades of all kinds have

been manufactured in Solingen for eight centuries.

While the original products were mainly swords and

daggers, today‘s products range from cutlery and kitchen

knives, scissors and razor blades through to industrial

knives and cutters. Paul Wirths hollow handle knives

use the fine “Solingen blade” to guarantee a long lasting

sharpness and high quality.
