Paul W. Finlay was the son of Mr. W.H. Finlay who was the manager of the St.

Maurice Hotel, in Three Rivers. He was reported missing as a result of attacks on

December 12.

Mr. W.H. Finlay received a letter indicating that little hope could be held for his

sons safety. Not long after he found that his son was lost at sea.

Paul W. Finlay was part of the Royal Canadian Naval

Volunteer Reserve.
