Koma. She graduated from Kansas State University of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and currently works at Dogs & Cats Veterinary Referral specialty hospital.
“It’s still hot outside, so don’t forget your pet! It only takes a couple of minutes for an unattended pet to suffer a fatal heat stroke in an enclosed car. Also always make sure your pet has access to water, even on a short walk”

Featured Real Estate Article: Neighborhood Stabilization Program #2
What is NSP2? It stands for Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2, a federally funded
effort to mitigate the impacts of foreclosed and abandoned properties on communities.
How does it work? Healthy Neighborhoods has selected 12 census tracks as target areas
for federally funded forgivable loans of up to $25,000. This will enable homebuyers to
help defray the cost of the purchase and renovation of a foreclosed or abandoned home.
How does NSP2 benefit Patterson Park? Patterson Park is one of 7 target
neighborhoods within which the aforementioned census tracks are located! NSP2 will
help bring motivated homebuyers who will improve upon and live within our
neighborhood, and thus reduce the number of foreclosed and abandoned properties in
our community. By addressing these target areas, NSP2 will stem decline and build
value in our real estate market.
What can I do to take advantage of this opportunity? If you or someone you know are
a committed home buyer who loves city life and believes in the future of active and
engaged urban communities, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you to purchase a
home and foster a stronger neighborhood. To be eligible, borrowers can earn no more
than 120% of the 2010 Adjusted Area Median Income – this is approximately $98,650
for a family of four – and need to be qualified, pre-approved buyers.
LET US HELP YOU TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS OPPORTUNITY!
The current housing market offers unprecedented opportunities for first-time and move-up buyers alike. Call or email us to talk about your best move.
