Mouse PivotsStitch a path for the mouse to find the cheese.
1. Place the paper with the design under the presser foot. Lower the needle into position at the mouse. Stitch on the line. Stop at the first corner.
2. To pivot: Leave the needle down in the paper. If the needle is up, turn the flywheel by hand to put the needle down. Lift the presser foot. Swing the paper around and lower the presser foot. What an awesome pivot!

6. Stuff a small amount of stuffing between the layers of batting.

Top of Bun1. Place 2 top bun pieces RIGHT sides together, matching all the edges. Stitch along one straight edge. Open up the 2 pieces and press the seam to one side.
2. Repeat Step 1 for the other 2 pieces.
3. Place the 2 sections RIGHT sides together and stitch to make the top bun circle. Press the seam to one side.
4. Place the top bun circle RIGHT side down on the square of beige bun fabric that is RIGHT side up. Pin.
5. Stitch around the circle, with the edge of presser foot even with the edge of the circle. Leave an opening for turning. Trim next to the top bun.

Lettuce1. Place the 7˝ × 14˝ piece of lettuce fabric WRONG side up on the ironing board. Place the paper-backed fusible web, paper side up, on the fabric. Keep the edges even. Press for 8–10 seconds using a hot, dry iron. Peel off the paper backing.
