Run your race...it's not about the speed .

Then there was church preschool…

Histeacherwouldtellmealmostdailythathehadatoughtimemovingfromoneactivitytoanother.Hewouldgetreallyfrustratedifhehadtostopdoingsomethingthathewanted todoandmove toanactivity thathe liked less.Sharing toysandworkingwithotherswerealsoissuesthatcausedanearmeltdownovereveryday. BUT, there were also his artistic abilities…

At age three, he drew a 3-Dperspective drawingof aGreatWhite shark cominghead-on towards theviewer. THREE-YEAR-OLDS DON’T DO THAT!Shortly thereafter, he copied Vincent Van Gogh’s“StarryNight.”Andhehascontinuedtoexcelinthevisualarts,reading,andwriting,especiallycomicsandcharacterdrawing.

BEST Sushi Tip? Try to get a taste of all of the roll at once. It’s not too pretty, but it's meant to be eaten together so that the flavors blend just right!

We have had numerous date nights here and have never been disappointed. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Wang go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. We don’t eat the REAL sushi, but the cooked choices are absolutely awesome. You literally want to get every drop of their sauces sopped up just like gravy on a biscuit.

Everything on all of the plates is meticulously placed and perfectly seasoned. Each item we’ve ordered, (and we’ve ordered a lot!) is a cut above other places. Reign It In...You control your mind, you can control your world.

We all know not to let our minds go too far and scare ourselves silly with scary movies and the like, but we allow our minds to ping pong around all kinds of other things. We don’t see any danger in allowing our minds to wander wherever they want to go.

The best lesson I’ve ever learned is to reign my mind in.

I still have to constantly discipline it to focus on what I need or want to focus on. I guess you have to do that your whole life. If not, it becomes like an unruly uncontrollable child. It heads off down old paths I no longer want to travel on or it brings up every bad thing it can find.

I think controlling our minds is renewing our minds. We determine what thoughts we allow in and which ones are allowed to stay. We focus on what is important to us and this is how “me and my house serve the Lord”.

At peace with God, with ourselves and with the life we have created... that is serenity lived out.

Peace is to sit down comfortably in the middle of the life we have been given & enjoy it.

A heart at peace gives life to the body. Prov. 14:30
