Swinging choke - Summary

The stepped air gap means the choke presents a variable impedance at different loadsAt reduced loads the harmonic THD reduces, SO:

Putting an ACS550 on a fan or pump, and reducing the speed will save the customer energy and moneyAs the speed reduces, and hence the load, so too will the THDDouble benefit!

Normally – when load reduces, the THD rises.

Start - Up assistant guides the user through all essential settings to be done without going directly into the parameter list.

Assisted topics : motor parameters, application macro, I/O, PID setting and drive optimisation, etc..
