PATEK PHILIPPE PRIVATE DINNER

When Patek Philippe wanted to host a VIP dinner to showcase their new collection, we were

only too happy to oblige! The event was a celebration of the relationship between this historic

watch brand and their VIP clients, along with providing an insight into watchmaking.

The Oxford Street Watches of Switzerland store was the location of the event, with custom

made, brass finished metal panels, laser cut with the famous Calatrava Cross guiding guests

up the marble staircase to a champagne, cocktail and canape reception. The Calatrava

cocktail was Hendricks gin, Cointreau and crushed white grapes, mixed with a dash of orange

bitters; a impeccable match for the delicious canapes being circulated by the butlers.

The string quartet paused momentarily for welcome speeches, after which guests took their

seats at the exquisitely decorated table. Gold linen was the foundation for the beautiful floral

centre pieces, which included unusual succulents, eucalyptus, ranunculus and deep red

roses. Gold rimmed glasses and crockery complimented the mother of pearl cutlery perfectly,

and soft lighting was provided by tea lights down the centre of the tables.

Following the fillet of beef main course, the new collection of watches were presented to

guests at the tables in flawless wooden cases for them to peruse. The chocolate bomb

dessert and coffee rounded off what was a hugely successful evening.

By the addition of alcohol from the same grape that kills of the yeasts and retains the residual sugars The resultant wine is a glittering gold colour with honey and apricot scented, citrusy aromas backed up by a clean, vibrant freshness on the palate.
