PAST SIMPLE – PASADO SIMPLE

Para formar el pasado simple con verbos

regulares, usamos el infinitivo y añadimos la

terminación “-ed”. La forma es la misma para

todas las personas (I, you, he, she, it, we, they).

Ejemplos:

Play (jugar) – played (jugué)

Help (ayudar)- helped (ayudó)

Dance (bailar)- danced (bailé)

Walk (caminar) – walked (caminé)

Cook (cocinar) – cooked (cociné)

Work (trabajar)- worked (trabajé)

Hay muchos verbos irregulares en inglés.

Desafortunadamente, no hay una norma

establecida para formarlos. Por ello, debes de

estudiar su forma en pasado.

Ejemplos:

Have (tener) – had (tenía)

Eat (comer) – ate (comía)

Drink (beber) – drank (bebía)

Speak (hablar) – spoke (hablaba)

Buy (comprar) – bought (compré)

Drive (conducir) – drove (conduje)
