An inescapable priority for business leaders is the need to make the communities they operate in

better. Progressive Business Publications (PBP) and its Founder, Ed Satell, have a more than two-decade history of corporate social responsibility invested in the Philadelphia region. PBP, based in Malvern, PA, is a multi-division executive information and training provider with a strong culture stressing long-term thinking with respect to customers, its employees

and the community.

To support that belief that with success comes responsibility to give back, Ed established two

foundations: the Progressive Business Publications Charitable Trust and the Satell Family Foundation.

These turn thought into action, focusing on supporting unique projects in five key areas: empowering disadvantaged children; higher

education and developing young people of promise; sponsoring medical and energy research to improve

lives; supporting cultural and civic initiatives that enhance the vibrancy of the region; and celebrating

Ed’s heritage. The Foundations created and extensively fund more than 35 impactful activities
